About the Ambassadors Program Ribbon Cuttings

The MHCC Ambassadors welcome new and growing businesses that are Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce members. They participate in ribbon cuttings for new businesses, attend receptions, ground-breaking ceremonies, greet visiting dignitaries and serve as official hosts when requested by MHCC.

Each ambassador is required to wear an 'official' uniform during ceremonies. All weekday functions require Full Uniform, and weekend functions require Summer Uniforms.

The Chamber office will mail or fax information on upcoming ribbon-cuttings (scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays), ground-breaking ceremonies and any other functions requiring Ambassador participation.

Each function that you attend will earn you points and at the end of the year these points are added. Monies raised throughout the year will be allocated accordingly to points earned and may be used towards the National Association of Chamber Ambassadors or TAMACC conventions held annually.

If you are interested in joining the MHCC Ambassadors, You can stop by at the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce office at 208 S. Marienfeld and speak with Annabell Ramirez or call her at 682-2960.
